rumi wilco ecolodge & nature reserve is a hidden gem in vilcabamba. the friendly owner, stunning surroundings, and creatively decorated rooms made our stay unforgettable. the kitchen had everything we needed and the local goodies for sale were a nice touch. highly recommended!

Rustic cabins with attention to detail and local materials. Clear paths and designated bathing spots along the river. Clean rooms with hot water and helpful local recommendations. Beautiful grassy camping area for stargazing. Tranquil atmosphere in nature reserve with fruit trees and hiking trails.

We stayed at this beautiful ecolodge for a week to unwind and connect with nature. The property is nestled in a serene natural reserve, surrounded by mountains and fruit trees. The trail system allowed us to explore the area and take peaceful walks. The attention to detail in the cabins was remarkable, with locally sourced wood creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the hot showers were a welcome luxury. We also loved the handmade products, like the locally grown coffee and homemade jams. a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure.
